Free Printable Bible Verse Word Search Puzzle With Isaiah 40:25-26 as the Text

Below is a free word search from BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY a children's activity bulletin I create every week for those who support my blog of Bible verse coloring pages through Patreon.

Become a Patreon for $3.50 a month and you will receive the entire activity bulletin every week. CLICK HERE to subscribe through Patreon and have immediate access to the archives of the recent issues.

THE VERSE

Isaiah 40:25-26 is not a passage we usually teach our kids, but it is a beautiful and powerful scripture. Many people are only comfortable with soft verses that are safe and happy and about love and stuff like that. I feel that it is a mistake to only teach the happy scripture and not the other truths of the Bible. So my weekly activity bulletin has one or two each week.

This is a verse about the greatness of God. It declares He is unequaled, He is holy and powerful He is mighty, and commands the universe.

Isaiah 40:25-26 says,

“To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing." Isaiah 40:25-26.

If you want to study this verse here is a link to a hub of helpful commentaries on it. CLICK HERE.

THE ART
This puzzle is my original creation. I know there are websites that make them for you but I am working in a specialized size for the activity bulletin since it is a bifold and the maze has to fit in a quarter page. I start with a template and then enter all the random letters, then put in specific letters for the words, it is all cut and paste for each letter. It takes hours to make it work. I have to be careful to not have surprises like the accidental potty words. I try to make all the letters line up nicely. Since I can't afford the fancy programs I'm working only in Word to create these.

I am very happy with how it turned out and I hope you are able to use it.

ABOUT PRINTING

The images below are in JPEG and should print fine on most printers. This art is designed on US standard paper sizes. If you are using an international size you can change the settings in the dialog box of your printer. If you have problems printing see the HOW TO PRINT tab above.
I put an updated link below that may print better on some devices.

HOW TO USE THIS
The file below is a JPEG. Download it and save it to your device. Open it in a Word program and you can print it. You might try using Word Paint, which is the program I used to create it, and in Paint you can edit it as you want.

If you prefer, I have a link below that you can use. It has only the left half of the image as a text box in a word document.

You can add this to your own church bulletin for fun and interest. You can add it to your welcome center materials. You can give it to the kids as an extra activity in class. You can combine it with others from my blog and make a little activity booklet for the kids.

SINCE I DID THIS ALL FOR YOU, MAY I ASK?
This printable is free. I really want to share it with you. I only ask that if you are able that you consider making a small contribution to support my art. Please click HERE TO DONATE and enter an amount that shows your level of appreciation. Even a small gift will help me to create more coloring pages like this for you.

WHY DO I DO ALL THIS
It takes me hours to make a puzzle like this, but I do it because I love God's Word and believe in its power to change lives. I feel that I have been given the gift of creativity, and I believe that when God gives you a blessing it is so you can become a blessing to others. So I hope my printables are a blessing to you.

Thank You, and God Bless.

THE VERSE
This is a treasured scripture of promise.  Most people become engaged with the second part of the verse about how God will give us the desires of our heart, and there is a lot of discussion about it. But the important part of the verse is the first part that we must delight in the Lord. For it to say that we should delight in the Lord means that we CAN delight in the Lord, and this is great hope. Consider how powerful it is to make our delight in the Lord!

Psalm 37:4 says,

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4.

THE ART
I started by tracing some border designs from other coloring pages, and then made changes to give the border more connection to the verse. I added hearts since there was a mention of the heart in the scripture. I think it turned out very nice. I hope you like it, and that you can use it.

COLOR THE PICTURE
There are a lot of fun things to color in this picture. There is a ribbon that wraps around the border that can be a bright color. There are lots of flowers to color, and since they have different shapes they can be colored in different colors. The letters are opened up and can be colored in. The frame can be colored too. The background looks good with a soft pale hue to give contrast to the bright colors. There are hearts around the border that can be colored, red or pink.
I hope you create a masterpiece.

THE SCRIPTURE
This is a beautiful word of promise from the Lord. It has a condition that we come to him. If we do not come to Christ, we cannot have the blessings he gives. But coming to him is not enough. He said we had to drink. To drink is to take something in on purpose and with intent. It is one of the easiest human activities, and if you cannot drink, you are in grave trouble. To drink of Christ must mean that we purposefully take him and his teachings in.

THE ART
This is my original art. I spent three hours drawing and then tracing the art for this picture. I had to trace it twice, and then after I scanned it into the computer, I  had to clean it up and make a few more adjustments to it. I am delighted with how it turned out, and I hope you are happy with it.

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, this can be a stunning masterpiece. There is a picture of the sun's rays coming up behind some mountains and a landscape in the foreground with water flowing through it. The letters can be colored in since they are opened and created as outlines.

I hope this Bible verse coloring page is as fun for you to color as it was for me to create!

Blessings, and Thank you.

Here is a free page from BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY an activity bulletin for kids.

This page features a maze that uses Psalm 4:8 as its theme. The object is to guide the words back into the proper place in the scripture.

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY
Every week I create a bulletin with 10 Bible verse activities for the kids in church. I began to do this a few years ago to mail them as a follow up to children who attended summer Bible School. I create these now as a thank you to those who support my Bible verse coloring pages blog with a monthly donation of $3.50 through Patreon.

THE VERSE
I like Psalm 4:8, it is a beautiful scripture of comfort. It is a promise of rest and safety. It is a worshipful verse because.

Psalm 4:8 says,

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8. NLT©

I choose the NLT version for this because it spoke with greater directness and more clear since it did not use the words "dwell," or the word "both" in a way that I thought would confuse children.

HOW TO USE THIS PRINTABLE
The page below can be part of your own bulletin or a handout at church. You can combine it with others which you can find on this blog. Free Philippians 4:4 Print and Color Page, Rejoice in the Lord Bible Verse

I am glad to share this free print and color page for Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord..." Bible verse.

THE VERSE
This is a beautiful and simple Scripture, but because it is simple does not mean it is not deep. The verse has the force of a command. Significantly, Paul wrote these words while in prison.  It is a challenge to us who rejoice in circumstances and things and our own sources of happiness. The verse reminds us that our joy comes from the Lord and not worldly things.

THE ART.
I spend hours creating coloring pages like this, but I am glad to do it because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

This is my original art and is mostly drawn by hand, although with a lot of tracing. I spent two days drawing the flowers for the background of this picture. I had to trace them twice, and then after I scanned the image into the computer, I had to clean it up using the Paint program. I am glad it turned out so nicely. I hope you like it.

COLOR
There are many ways to color this to make it beautiful. Many flowers can be lots of different colors, or you can just choose a few colors and repeat a pattern of colors repeatedly. The letters can be colored in. You should use some contrasting colors for the letters. The frame can be a different contrasting color. The frame in a picture like this looks best if it is dark.

I hope you have as much fun coloring this picture as I had in drawing it.

Blessings, and Thank you.

Free Psalm 127:1 Print And Color Page, "Unless The Lord Builds The House..." Bible Verse

Here is a free print and color page for Psalm 127:1.

I am delighted to share another one of my printable coloring pages. This is a favorite Bible verse and inspires us to believe in God. It reminded us that He is the builder of the House, the church, or whatever great work He calls us to do.  It reminds us that He is the guard over our safety. He may give you the vision to do something great, but the Lord still accomplishes it.

THE ART.
This is my original art, for the most part, since I borrowed from some of my other original art. I started working on this coloring picture on Saturday and worked on it off until late Tuesday. I lost track of how much time I worked on it. Even though I borrowed art from other coloring pages I made, I still needed to change things to make them all fit. I am delighted with how it turned out since there is a lot of interest around the border without taking away from the point of appreciating the scripture.

A lot of people feel that when they color the words to the verse, it helps them to memorize the scripture.

COLOR THE PICTURE.

There are a lot of ways that you can turn this into a beautiful picture. The border has a lot of leaves and paisley designs to color. There is a little scene at the bottom of a church that can be colored. And there is a guard in the bottom left corner. The background could be a contrasting color, and the letters can be colored in; consider using blue or brown or some other color for the letters.

I hope you paint a masterpiece!

Blessings, and Thank you.

THE PUZZLE
The verse is the word bank for the puzzle. All the words in the puzzle are found in the verse so as you are doing the puzzle you are becoming exposed to God's Word.

Psalm 127:1 says,

Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Psalm 127:1.

This is a beautiful scripture of comfort and it directs us to have faith in the workings of the Lord.

Free Psalm 150:6 Print and Color Page, Let All That Has Breath... Bible Verse.

Here is a free printable coloring page for Psalm 150:6.

This is a favorite scripture, and it is a fitting last verse of the book of Psalms. It is like the last word and the conclusion. The verse makes it sound that all living things, or rather, all breathing things, should praise the Lord. It is as if God is so worthy of praise that it is not enough for only all of humankind to praise him but all creatures as well.

Free Psalm 32:1-2 Print and Color Page, Blessed is He Whose Sin is Forgiven.

Here is a free print and color page for Psalm 32:1-2.

The scriptures that begin with blessed are some of the most beautiful teachings in any language. It is more than some kind of happiness or good fortune; it is the good that comes with the favor of God. The author could write about the blessing of forgiven sins as a hope that our sins can be forgiven. It implies that there is a possibility of forgiveness. Of course, in the New Testament, we see the answer to sin's punishment in the death and resurrection of Christ, who paid for our sins on the cross and whose resurrection proves the sufficiency of his work on our behalf.

Psalm 32:1-2 says,

"Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit." Psalm 32:1-2.

There are a lot of things you can do to make a beautiful picture out of this coloring page.
  • The landscape can have a lot of colors since there are mountains, hills, meadows, and trees to color.
  • The sky has many clouds, and the rays of the sunlight can be yellow or gold to contrast with the sky's blue.
  • You can try putting a little color in the clouds like rose or yellow.
  • The letters are opened up for you to color in and they can be different from the colors in the landscape.
  • There is a floating frame that can be a different color too.
  • I hope you create a masterpiece.

I spent two days creating this art for you. I drew the scene repeatedly, and then when I was happy with the design, I traced it so it would be nice and crisp. After I scanned it into the computer, I cleaned it up using the program that came with the computer. I spent all morning getting the words in the right places. It was a lot of work, but I am pleased with the results. I hope you like it.

Blessings and Thank You,

Here is a free Bible verse coloring page for Jeremiah 9:23-24.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 says,

This is what the LORD says: "Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the LORD. ABOUT MY ART
It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I draw them because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.

I spent two evenings drawing and tracing the border for this picture, and I still had to spend a few hours after I scanned it into the computer cleaning it up and making small changes here and there. It was a lot of work, but I am pleased with how the picture turned out. I hope you are happy with it.

There are many opportunities to be creative with this picture. The flowers and wrapping vines around the border can be very colorful. The letters are open and can be colored in. The frame bar can be a different color to add interest. The background can be a different hue to set everything apart. I hope you create a masterpiece.

This is a verse that challenges us to be humble because it tells us not to boast about our gifts or talents but to boast about the Lord, and that we know Him. The verse tells us why we should boast about knowing the Lord; it says we should boast about the Lord because of who He is and what He is like.

Free Bible Verse Word Search For Matthew 5:38-42, Turn the Other Cheek Verses

This Matthew 5:38-42-word search is a fun activity and helps teach the Bible.

This word search is a free sample of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY activities, which is an activity booklet I make for kids in church each week and I give it as a gift to those who support my art blog.

In this activity, children encounter God's Word as they look for the words from the scripture in the puzzle.

The verse that is the basis of this activity is from the Sermon on The Mount.

The passage says,

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them on the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you and does not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. Matthew 5:38-42.
