If you have problems printing, CLICK HERE to visit my how-to-print page, where I have collected some suggestions that may help you.  You can try the updated link that should print better.

THIS IS MY ORIGINAL ART

I kept the art simple on this one. I wanted the power of the scripture to be without distraction. I printed the words out and then traced using an artist's lightbox, and after designing the decorations for the border, I traced them onto the page with the words I used a fine-tipped marker. After the tracing was done, I scanned it back into the computer and added the straight lines. It was a lot of work and took all evening, but I am happy with how it turned out, and I hope you are blessed by it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

When you color these printables, it helps you memorize the verse, and when displayed, it serves as a reminder of God's Word.

I spend hours creating coloring pages like this, as I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you.  My coloring pages are free, and you may print as many as you like. Please consider making a small contribution to support my art if you can. Use the donate button.

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, such as my favorite, Prismacolor, then you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby and there are usually coupons available online. I like to color the background a light color. I suggest coloring the letters a medium to dark hue. You can get creative with the border. I like to use a hot color for the frame bars around the picture, like red or orange.

Blessings, and thank you.

Thank You!

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING

This is created for USA letter-sized paper; you may need to reset your printer to fill the page from its pulldown menu if you use something else. If you need help printing, CLICK HERE to my how-to-print page for suggestions, or try the updated PDF file above.

MY ART

I spent a day creating this coloring page. I used a lightbox and a fine-tipped marker to trace parts of it from other coloring pages. The letters were printed from the computer, and then I traced around them. I used the scanner on my printer to download the drawing to the computer and then used the Microsoft Paint program to clean it up and add the straight lines.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways to color this and a lot of opportunities for creativity. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. The letters are big enough to color in. The letters are best if dark. Try using red in places. Try coloring the background and filling in the frames. The crown can be yellow, orange, and red. The flowers can be pink, violet, lavender, or red. Try using a different green on the vines. The paisley decoration can be blues or greys. Remember to color in the background areas in the frame and behind the letters.

If you take your time, you will want to mount and frame it to be admired by all and a reminder of the truth of God's Word.

Blessings and thank you

A WORD ABOUT PRINTING

If you have problems printing the coloring page, CLICK HERE to visit my HOW TO PRINT page for helpful tips, or try one of the updated links below.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of ways this can be colored. If you print it on cardstock, it can take wetter mediums.
Like watercolor or markers,
I like to color the background a pale color and the lettering a dark, dramatic color like blue or brown, lavender or purple.
The flowers can be pink or violet.
The leaves can be more than one color of green.
The frame bars can be a bright contrasting color, like orange or red.

ABOUT MY ART
I traced the border using designs from other projects and combined them for this. I printed the text out and traced it by going around each letter to give an area to color. I used the printer to create the frame bars. It all took a couple of evenings. I enjoyed making this for you and hope you are blessed by it.

THE VERSE
This verse is a classic of comfort and hope. It teaches us that Jesus came with a purpose. It teaches us that His purpose was not to do for himself any great thing but to do the greatest thing he could do for us.  It says he gave his life for us; it wasn't taken, but he was willing to give it and let it happen. This scripture also teaches us the example of living for others and not for ourselves.

Mark 10:45 says, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45.

ABOUT PRINTING

If you get stuck printing, then see the "CLICK HERE" to go to my how-to-print page for some suggestions. You can try the updated link below in PDF format; it should print better.

MY ART

I spent a great deal of time creating this picture.  I printed and then traced the letters as outlines, so you will have an area to color.  I had to draw the vines and borders several times before I achieved a look that was interesting and in harmony with everything else. The cross scene at the bottom was very important to me because I wanted to illustrate the sacrifice of Christ. I hope you enjoy my coloring page and find it meaningful.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many areas in which a young artist can express themselves in this picture. The letters can be filled in with any color. The frame bars could be tan or dark brown. The leaves can be green, and the flowers can be pink or red. You can use a different color behind the decoration in the borde,r and even lightly color the background behind the letters.

I draw these Bible verse coloring pages because I love God's Word. I hope you are blessed by them.

Blessings, and Thank You.

THE VERSE
This verse strongly encourages us to give and receive kindness and compassion. It gives the example of Christ, whose forgiveness was complete and sacrificial. He even prayed for God to forgive us as he died on the cross for our sins. Christ's example is a challenge. Anyone who claims to be his follower and lacks forgiveness the way he does must reexamine the presence of Christ in their lives.

Ephesians 4:32 says,

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32

I worked long on this one to make the grape clusters and leaves look right. I had to draw them over a few times, but they turned out the way I wanted after a while. I had to print the words from the computer and trace them around them to have some open areas for you to color.

COLOR THE PICTURE

I like to color the background a light color. I suggest coloring the letters in a medium-dark hue. There are a lot of opportunities to be creative with the borders. I like to use a hot color for the frame bars around the picture, like red or orange. The grapes can be blue or purple. Try to use different greens on the leaves.
