This is a free print and color page for 1 Peter 4:8.

It takes me hours to draw these coloring pages, but I draw them because I love God's Word and hope they bless you. 

This is a simple verse, but you should not be too quick to dismiss it because, like all scripture, there is more below the surface than you initially think. It is a call to love and not just any love but deep love, which implies sacrificial love. It says love covers a multitude of sins, and that means forgiveness. Love is the basis of forgiveness. 

1 Peter 4:8 says,

Above all, love each other deeply because love covers a multitude of sins.1 Peter 4:8.

ABOUT MY ART

It took me two days to create this coloring page. I traced it several times and then had to scan it into the computer and clean it up with the paint program that comes with the computer. I worked really hard on it and am very happy with how it turned out. I hope you like it. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways that you can make this into a beautiful picture. 

• There are a lot of little leaves and hears around the border that can be colored. 
• There is a frame structure that can be colored a contrasting color. 
• The background can be a soft hue to offset the other elements of the picture. 
• The landscape with the cross can be colored in many different ways. 
• You can use yellows and oranges in the light rays to contrast with the blue of the sky. 
• The letters are opened and can be colored. 
• Consider using brown or blue for the letters to the scripture. 

I hope you have fun with it and that God's Word encourages you as you color it.

Here is a free print and color page for Psalm 48:1.

Psalm 48:1 is a wonderful scripture of praise and worship. It is one of the most simple phrases of worship and one of the deepest truths in the Bible. The worship of God is so foundational to our faith but so overlooked. In the first chapters of the Bible, we see Cain and Able bringing offerings of worship, and then worship fills the scriptures all the way through until the end, where we see the multitudes of angels and the redeemed praising God. Could there be a better picture of how the beginning and the end of all we are is about worship? 

When you color the verse, it helps you remember it, and as you color the letters, it helps you meditate on the meaning of God's Word.

I am very excited that someone asked me to create this coloring page for their children's church, and I am thankful that it has caused me to think more about the importance of worship in our lives. I worked hard on it, and it took a lot of adjusting and many little fixes to get it right.

COLOR THE PICTURE

There are a lot of flowers to color around the border. If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils like my favorite, Prismacolor, you can get into the smaller areas. You can find Prismacolor pencils at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and there are usually coupons available online.  The letters are opened up to color them; consider using dark blue or dark brown for the words. The frame bars can be colored with a contrasting hue. The background can be a different and lighter color.

I spent about three hours drawing this coloring page and then another hour tracing the Spanish version below. I thought the idea of the sunrise and the hope of a new day was a good backdrop for the words. 

You can make a beautiful picture out of this printable if you take your time. The letters are opened up so you can color them in. There is a sunrise scene over the mountains that you can color. I hope it turns into a masterpiece.

I spent a lot of time working on this picture even though I started by tracing some other material I still had to do a lot of changes and clean it up on the computer. I am delighted with how it turned out and I hope you like it. 

There are a lot of things you can do to make this into a beautiful picture. The letters are opened so you can color the words. There are lots of flowers and leaves around the border to color and there is a frame that can be a different color for contrast. The background can be a pale hue so that the letters stand out. I hope you make a beautiful picture out of it.

The letters were mostly cut and paste, and I had to recreate some of the letters since I didn't like all the capital fonts. It was a lot of work, and I really hope you like it.

I spend hours creating coloring pages like this; I do it because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you. 

You would think that such a simple picture was an easy project, but in fact, I had to trace this about four times before I was happy with it; then, after scanning it into the computer, I spent another hour cleaning things up and making little changes. It was a surprising amount of work, but it turned out very nice. I hope you like it. 

There are still a lot of things that you can do to make this into an engaging and beautiful picture. 

• There are hearts that can be colored pink or red. 
• There is a ribbon of flowers that can be many different colors. 
• The letters are opened and can be colored. 
• The frame bar can be a contrasting color. 
• The background can be another hue to bring the lettering out.

Here is a Saint Valentine's day card that you can print and color for free.

NOT ONLY FOR ST. VALENTINE'S DAY

It is not just a St. Valentines Day card, you can use it for many different occasions. The picture is of a heart with flowers and you can use it for any occasion that you want. Print it and color the picture to give it your personal touch. It will be a one of a kind and whoever you give it to will appreciate it. 

The inside will be blank and ready for you to write a personal note. 

CARDSTOCK OR PLAIN PAPER

There are two files, they are the same card. The first file is for you to print onto cardstock, this is heavier paper. After you color the page then you can cut it to size. It creates two cards. It will fit in an invitation envelope that you can buy from any stationery or office supply store. 

If you do not have cardstock then choose the second file. It is for a standard 8 1/2 by 11-inch paper. Once you color the picture fold it twice once horizontally and once vertically. This will give the card some weight and you have the added bonus of a larger area on the inside fold for a longer message. 

ABOUT PRINTING

The file below is set up for you to print on heavy cardstock it makes two cards. After you print and the file cut it in half so it makes two Valentine's cards. Fold it in half. It should fit nicely in a standard invitation envelope, (A2 envelope,  4 3/8x 5 3/4 inches).

10 Bible Activity Printables for Kids in a Bulletin Format for Weekly Distribution

This is the printable kid's activity magazine I make every week for my friends.

I've just finished issue 87 and will soon post it to my Patreon home page for my supporters. Issue 87 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY has a crossword, word searches, a maze, a word scrambler, and more. Each activity is built on scripture so that the kids come face to face with God's Word while they are doing the puzzle. Each activity has the usual discussion question associated with it, so parents and teachers can move from a fun activity to talking about the deep things of God.

Here is a sample of two of the four pages of this printable Bible verse activity. The pages are designed like a bifold, so you can fold them in half like a bulletin. There are four pages that you would print back to back. The first two are created with older children in mind, and the second two are designed for younger students. You can center staple them into a booklet or distribute them separately as you need. 

I spent about 25 hours designing these for my friends. The $3.50 only covers the cost of paper, printer ink, and markers.

Free 1 Peter 3:15 Printable Crossword Puzzle for Half Page Children's Church Bulletin

This 1 Peter 3:15 Bible verse crossword puzzle was part of a bulletin. You are welcome to use it for free. 

Every week, as a gift to those who support my blog through Patreon for $3.50, I create an activity bulletin for the kids called BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY. It has a crossword, word searches, puzzles, maze, and more. It is a printable children's activity magazine that you print on both sides. The pages can be stapled together or distributed separately. It can be used as part of a bulletin, given as an activity, as a handout after class, club, or camp.

This puzzle uses the verse as the word bank. All the answers are found in the verse, so kids become exposed to God's Word as children do the activity. Below the puzzle is a discussion question to help adults engage the child in a spiritual discussion. 

1 Peter 3:15 says,

But in your hearts, revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15.

A WORD ABOUT MY ART

Even though I started this coloring page by borrowing art from my other coloring pages, it still took hours to create. I had to do a lot of cut and paste and then trace and redraw both on the computer and in my work area. It took a few hours, but I am glad I could do it and it turned out so lovely. I hope. You like it. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

Many fun things make this a beautiful and rewarding picture. 

• The flowers can be many different colors. The letters are open and can be colored. 
• There is a scene of three crosses in the bottom right corner, which is an area of interest. 
• The rays of light from behind the clouds can be a brilliant opportunity to add drama to the picture.

I hope it turns out as a masterpiece for you.

MY ART

I spend hours creating coloring pages like this; I do it because I love God's Word, and I hope they are a blessing to you. 

It took about 6 hours to design and create this coloring page. I sketched it out a few times, traced it over a few more times when I liked the design, and then scanned it into the computer. I used the drawing program that came with Microsoft Word to clean it up and make more changes. It was a lot of work, but I am delighted with the results. I hope you like it. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

• You can do many things to make this into a beautiful picture. 
• It has a lot of flowers that can be very colorful. The vines and leaves can be different green colors. 
• A ribbon is wrapping around the frame and twisting with the vines that can be contrasting colors. 
• The letters can be filled in. 
• Consider being creative with your choice of letter color and avoid dull black. 
• The background can be a place with a different color to give the other colors a contrast that brings them out.

Are There Bible Activity Printables in a Bulletin Format for Kids?

Issue 86 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is now available to subscribers who support this blog. 

BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY is an activity bulletin for kids in church, Bible clubs, family devotions, children's discipleship programs VBS (Vacation Bible School), Backyard Bible Club, Good news Clubs, and anywhere God's Word is loved. 

It has ten different activities, including coloring pages, crossword, Wordsearch, and more. Each activity uses scripture as the basis, so kids engage with God's Word, not just coloring another picture of Noah's ark. 

It is a Bifold Double-sided bulletin that can be center stapled or distributed in parts. See the example below to get an idea of its appearance and usefulness. 

Every activity has a discussion question to enable teachers and parents to move from activity to teach.

Issue 86 was a complex issue to bring to birth. It was like the fabled "death of a thousand cuts," or maybe better stated as the Devil is in the details. Every time I thought it was done, I found something else to correct, change, polish, or adjust.  It was a lot of work, and like other issues before, it consumed over 25 hours of my time. But the finished product is very lovely, and I am thrilled with it. I think the first coloring picture is really stunning, and I can easily imagine all the family members wanting to color it.

I used the CSB © translation in this puzzle for its clarity which is a very important issue for me. I spent many years teaching Sunday school and AWANAs Bible club,  and I came to feel that if your translation is not clear to a child's level of understanding of the language then you have to teach the language first and after that then you can teach God's Truth. So in BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY, I spend hours every week selecting not only the scriptures but the clearest translation for a child.

1 John 5:11-13 Wordsearch for Half Fold Bulletin

I know you can go to some websites and enter your information and for a small fee, they generate a word search like this. I have found that they do not fit well in a half-page format as nicely as the ones that I create one letter at a time. Also, some have watermarks or other security that prevent you from sharing the word search with a third party or post online. 

You can do all that work but why reinvent the wheel? I'm doing it for you so you can use your time as a wise steward and study to prepare your Bible lessons.

Free Joel 2:25 Print And Color Page, I Will Return To You The Years Bible verse.

Here is a free Bible verse coloring page for Joel 2:25.

This is a scripture that offers great hope and is a promise of restoration. It says that God is able and willing to give back the blessings that we have lost over the times of our folly or rebellion. It is an encouragement from the Lord that though we were experiencing His chastisement since He is a father who corrects his children, a time comes that we are returned to a place of blessing and peace.

Joel 2:25 says, 

"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten-- the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm -- my great army that I sent among you. Joel 2:25. 

I wanted to do this verse as a coloring page for a long time. I modified some other art and traced a few of the flowers over to make them fresh and improve them. I used the butterflies from another picture, but I had to do a lot of reworking on them to make them consistent with the other art because, at first, they just seemed to stand out too much. I wanted to do the butterflies because the verse referenced locusts, but they are not so pretty to color, so the butterflies were a compromise, and they seemed to be more hopeful.

There are many fun flowers to color, and since they are so many different shapes and sizes, you can use a lot of different colors and make them really bright.  The butterflies can be a place for contrasting colors. The letters to the words are big enough to color in. Consider using blue, violet, lavender, or brown and not just color them in black.  The background can be a light hue, but it can look nice if it contrasts slightly with the flowers.  I hope you have as much fun coloring it as I did in creating it for you.
