COLOR THE PICTURE

There are many ways to color this to make it beautiful. This picture can be powerfully beautiful when you take your time with it. 

Use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, and then you can get into the more delicate areas.    My favorite coloring pencils are Prismacolor pencils because they are so brilliant and blend nicely. You can find them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and you can usually find coupons for good discounts. 

The letters can be colored in. 

Use one set of colors for the shapes outside the frame and a second set of colors for the shapes inside the frame. 

The frame can be a different contrasting color. 

I think the frame in a picture like this looks best if it is dark. 

I hope you have as much fun coloring this picture as I had in creating it.

COLOR THE PICTURE

• I like to color the background a light hue and the letters a medium-dark hue. 
• You can color the letters blue, brown, or purple; I like to avoid black letters since it is boring. 
• There are a lot of opportunities to be creative with embellishments around the border. 
• The hearts can be red, pink, or any color; I like to add a little white in a spot like a glitter of sunlight, and I want to add a little violet around one lower edge like a shadow that makes it look round. 
• The flowers can be all kinds of colors.  
• You can try to use two or three greens on the leaves and vines. 
• The frame bars can be a contrasting color, like blue or something different.

This is my original art. It would be nice to offer you something that looked a little like an old stained glass window.  I borrowed part of it from a church bulletin I create every week for the kids. I used the computer for the letters and some of the borders. It is not as elaborate as some of my other coloring pages, but sometimes something simple is just what is needed. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

If you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils, you can access tight areas. You can get very creative with different color combinations and patterns that you might not be able to explore otherwise. The letters can be colored in; consider using blue or brown or some other color for the letters.

I am thrilled to share this coloring page I created with you. It is John 1:12 in Japanese writing. I do not speak much Japanese and used some online resources to make this for you. I was meticulous in my research to avoid mistakes, but I am sure there might be one or two. If so, I hope you will be gracious and receive this coloring page as a celebration of God's scripture and the great people who speak the poetic Japanese language.

MY ART

I reused some drawings from some of my other coloring pages and things. I combined them and made many little changes to get it all to fit. I used the computer to create the crowns, and I used the computer to generate the characters so you could color them in. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

I would suggest using a dark color for the lettering and faint colors for the background. The letters are small and may be too tight to do much with, but you can follow the inside areas and add a little tint to the text.

There are many flowers to color, and they can be many different colors.

Try a different color for the frame border for contrast. 

The crowns can be yellow or orange, blue or silver, and red or green for the jewels.

I am glad to share this free printable John 1:12 in the language of Ethiopia. 

It helps you memorize the scripture when you color the letters, and when it is done, this is a beautiful reminder of the Bible's teaching.

HOW TO MAKE IT PRINT

Using a dark color for the lettering and a faint color for the background is a good idea. The letters are small to color in but you could add a line of tint to it without extreme effort. The background scene can be very dramatic or serene, depending on your choice of colors. There are lots of flowers to color in. Try a different color for the frame border. The crowns can be yellow or orange, light blue or silver.

MY ART

I began by using some drawings that I did for past coloring pages and other projects. I combined them and changed things a lot to get it all to fit. I had to use the computer to create the crowns. I could have just drawn them, but it was so much work, and I would copy one for the second corner anyway. I also generated the letters with the computer so you can color them in. I hope you like the coloring page and that you can use it.

Free Printable Bible Activity for Children, Bulletin Issue 110

I am glad to share with you issue 110 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY! 

You can use it for your family and ministry I hope you like it and can use it. It has a lot of great verses for kids and adults.

It was a lot of work! I must be crazy for making these!  It took me a long time to get excited about this issue. When I work on something, I wait for the arrival of excitement (I am usually a reserved person). However, when my work comes to the place where I am excited, I feel that I have finally entered into a partnership with the Lord on something. it is as if He has accepted my work as an offering and as an act of worship. All work is worship, and doing your work well is high worship to Him who gives life, intelligence, and the will to do good in His name.  

This issue went from being a mountain to climb to a celebration of God and His marvelous Word. After all, that is the point; the Bible is wonderful and exciting- and even fun! That is why I call this BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY. 

I hope you have fun with it and that it helps you to discover something new in God’s beautiful Word.

John 20:31 explains why the Gospel of John, and maybe the whole Bible, was written.

John 20:31 says,

ABOUT MY ART

The border for this picture is a copy of one that I did for the English version of this verse. It originally took over four hours for me to design.  I trace the art over a few times to get it all right, and then I scan it into the computer. I wanted there to be a lot of things that a person could be creative with around the border. The text was created with the computer. 

COLOR THE PICTURE

You can do a lot to make this into a beautiful picture. There are flowers and paisley designs around the edges to color. There is a picture of a Bible at the bottom. The letters are by nature thin, but if you use a fine-tipped marker or colored pencils, you can fill them in.

THE VERSE

This is one of those favorite scriptures that teach us to trust God and seek His guidance; it is a promise that he will guide us.  Many people memorize it and teach it to their kids.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says. "Confía en Jehová con todo tu corazón y no te apoyes en tu propia prudencia. 6 Reconócelo en todos tus caminos y él hará derechas tus veredas.." Proverbios 3:5-6.

MY ART

This picture started as a coloring page I did for a church bulletin. The art in the background is a road through the country, and it took several tries before I got it right. I traced it several times before it looked good.  After I finished drawing it, I used the scanner to download it onto my computer, and then I changed a few more things with the Microsoft Paint program.  It took days, but I am very pleased with how it looked. I wanted to get the most out of the work, so I created a series of pictures in different languages.

A FEW IDEAS ABOUT COLORING

You can make a beautiful picture when you take your time with it. I think fine-tipped markers or colored pencils work best because then you can get into the finer areas.  

• The shrubs can be more than one green; they should be paler as they are further back. The road can be sandy in color or red or brown. 
• Consider using purple, lavender, and violet for the distant hills. The letters can be colored in, so get creative and pick a beautiful color for the words. 
• The sun's rays can be yellow or orange.  
• You can color the sky blue and leave the clouds white, but add a little pale color like rose, lavender, and yellow like the dawn.

MY ART

I did a coloring page for a church bulletin that I created, and I liked it so much that I wanted to share it with you. The background depicts a road through the countryside, and it took several attempts before I got it right.  I had to trace it over a few times before it looked good.  After I downloaded it to my computer, I changed a few more things with the Paint program.  It was a couple of days worth of work, but I am very pleased with how it looked. 

PRINTING  

The file below is designed for USA letter-sized paper. If you are using a different size, do not worry; you may only need to change your printer’s dialog box to get it to fit.  The image below should print nicely on most systems. If you have any problems, CLICK HERE to go to my how-to-print page for some suggestions. The file below is in PDF format, which may work better if the other one does not work for you. 

MAKE IT BEAUTIFUL

This picture can be beautiful when you take your time with it. 

• Use colored pencils or fine-tipped markers to access the finer details.  
• The characters can be colored in. 
• Use more than one green for the shrubs. 
• Things in the background near the horizon should be paler. 
• Use a sandy color, red, or brown for the road. 
• Consider using purple, lavender, and violet for the distant hills.

Free Kid's Printable Bible Activity Bulletin PDF, Issue 109 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY

I am very excited to have finished issue 109 of BIBLE TIME FUN WEEKLY printable children's activity booklet.  It took all my spare time this last week I think I spent about 30 hours on it. I make this bulletin for my church to give out after the Awana club each week, 

I am glad to share this with you and I hope you are able to use it in your church, Bible club, Class, home VBS or outreach. I hope the thoughtful discussion questions will promote spiritual talks between children and parents or teachers.  

WHAT THIS IS

It is like a four-page program or bulletin that you print both sides and then you can fold it in half, the two pages can be center-stapled to make a booklet.   Every issue has its challenges to create and this one was no exception.   It is full of fun activities for kids of all ages. I hope you like it and can use it in your ministry and family. In this issue are verses of worship and invitation and scripture that declare the person of Christ, The six things God hates as revealed in proverbs is balanced with God demonstrating his love from Romans 5 and the great command to love in Matthew. 

• The crossword is taken from Proverbs 3:5-6.
• The Explorer's Challenge (Mini Bible study) is from Matthew 22:37-39.
• The drop letter puzzle is from Romans 5:8.
• The maze is from John 3:36.
• A drop word puzzle uses Revelation 3:20.
• The large letter word search uses Psalm 86:10-12.
• The first coloring page uses  John 10:11.
• The second coloring page uses Jeremiah 17:7.
• The word search number 2 uses Mark 10:21.

THE VERSE

This Scripture is from Genesis 1:27, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27.  

There is so much that is implied by this simple verse. I often think that being made in the image of God is a gift! It suggests that we are noble, worthy, and valuable because we are in His image. If we are in the image of God, who is so great and does such wonderful things, then we should be doers of great and wonderful things. Of course, the problem is that the image of God in us is flawed by our sin. But the very flawed image is hope for reconciliation with the one whose image we are made in. Because we are made in His image, we are uniquely ready to be restored to God.

I am glad to share this printable coloring page with you. It is Acts 2:21 in Spanish. I hope you like it and that you can use it. I created this for my Spanish friends, and I am so glad to share it with you. 

THE VERSE

This verse helps us to understand the message of the Gospel.  It is the promise of salvation to those who believe in the name of the Lord.  It says we must call on the name of the Lord to be saved. Makes me think it is not automatic, but you must make a choice to accept him. It does not say that we do stuff like giving to charity or doing heroic good deeds to get into heaven, but it is by the authority of the Name of Jesus, which means it is because of what he did that brings us to God. 

This is a popular memory verse, and coloring this page will help you to remember it.  

Acts 2:21 says,

Y todo aquel que invoque el nombre del Señor, será salvo. Hechos 2:21.

MY ART

I combined several drawings by hand and traced pieces from some other coloring pages that I had made in the past. It had to be scanned back into the computer, and I used Microsoft Paint to clean things up.  I drew the straight lines and created the letters with the computer. Even though I used the computer and traced designs, it still took a long time to create. 

I am very pleased with how it turned out and hope you can use it.

I suggest that you use fine-tipped markers or colored pencils. There are a lot of ways that you can color this. The letters are big enough to fill in; think about using a color like blue, or brown, or something besides black for the letters. . There are lots of flowers and vines and images of two people in a posture of prayer.

THE VERSE

This is not the most popular scripture. It is one of those hard sayings of Christ and challenges us to think about the cost of following Jesus. It tells us that there are hardships associated with identifying ourselves with Jesus and his kingdom.

THE ART

I made this one more like a child's coloring page by keeping it open and not having a lot of fancy stuff around the border, which I usually like to do.  The little fox and the little bird in the nest was something I drew a few years ago for a children's art lesson, and it was simply a little cut and paste. I used the computer to create the text using a cut and paste technique and merged it into a font I modified for coloring pictures. 

It was a lot of work, and I hope you like it.
